Our Firm

Recognized for design excellence, practice innovation, and inspiring firm culture, Bialosky has established itself as a firm that creates meaningful solutions that are innovative, responsive, enduring and beautiful. For over 70 years, our practice has earned distinguished design awards in the realms of architecture, interior design, and environmental graphics. We continue to be named a Northcoast 99 Company, Weatherhead 100 Company, and a Top Workplace, being one of the few Midwest design firms to consistently earn these accolades. As an AIA Ohio Gold Medal Firm, Bialosky upholds a high standard of design, a collaborative nature, and a cumulative influence on the profession of architecture.

Bialosky is a recognized community leader, mobilizing resources and people to uplift and enliven communities of different faiths, economic means, and health disparity. As a national standard, the 1+ Project of Public Architecture challenges architecture and design firms to make a pledge of 1% or more of annual billable hours to pro bono service.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

EDI

We look to embrace diversity and promote inclusivity at every opportunity: in the firm we build, in the places we create, and in the communities we serve. Our commitment to equity is never incidental, it is always by design.

Bialosky is a JUST Organization. JUST is a nutrition label created by the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) for socially just and equitable organizations. A a voluntary disclosure tool rather than a certification program, JUST is a transparency platform for organizations to disclose their social corporate responsibility and operations, including how they treat their employees and where they make financial and community investments.

Community

Community

Service is a core value and virtue of our practice. It is more than “paying it forward” or “doing the right thing”. We believe architects and designers are uniquely suited to strengthen communities and have a responsibility to help “heal the world”. We serve on nonprofit boards, facilitate community engagement, and volunteer for inspiring causes. We are teachers and thought leaders. We are natural-born advocates for our profession, design, community causes, and equity. These commitments are not viewed as extracurriculars, but as the fuel for a culture of community leadership.

The 1+, a program by Public Architecture, challenges architecture and design firms across the globe to make a pledge of one percent or more of annual billable hours to pro bono service. We exceed that challenge by threefold.
