The 2019 AIA Cleveland Design Awards at Hilton Downtown attracted a record number of 535 attendees to celebrate, inspire, and honor design excellence. Two community-centric projects, Metro Campus Center and Cleveland Public Library’s Facilities Master Plan earned Tri-C multiple honors.

Jury Chair, Lawrence Scarpa, FAIA cited that while master plans are very difficult to judge, the CPL Master Plan’s intent to give clear design guidelines for an entire library network is commendable.

Hallie Crouch, Assoc. AIA was individually honored with the Activism Award for championing equity in the profession and making architecture more accessible to the public.
