One of Cleveland’s most popular attractions, The RainForest at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, is a magnificent two-acre, two level habitat to more than 10,000 plants and over 600 animals from the jungles of Asia, Africa, and the Americas. With inhabitants safely relocated, the obsolete dome was replaced with a new one, with a state-of-the-art ETFE membrane, improving lighting, energy efficiency, and animal habitats. The $1.75 million project is on schedule for completion this fall.
